The Bright Riders School Governing Body is a diverse mix of visionary individuals, including the School Management, Peer School Principals, Community members, Parents, and Staff representatives. The purpose of this body (organisation)is to work towards the strategic growth and sustainability of the school with a futuristic goal.

The School Governing Body has four core functions

• Setting the strategic direction within the context of a clearly stated vision and ethos.
• Holding the senior leadership team accountable for the achievement of the school's strategy and operations.
• Overseeing the overall educational performance and suggesting ways for improvement.
• Overseeing the financial performance of the school and suggesting ways for improvement.

The school governing body acts as a critical friend, challenging the status quo and setting expectations.
